| Guest | Group messages by date? Hi there! ![]() In Vista's windows mail; is there a way to group messages by date, (as in Outllok 2003)? Rather than simply have all the messages in one long, unbroken list? Many thanks, Richard. |

| Guest | Re: Group messages by date? Hi, Richard. Windows Mail won't put in dividers for each date, but you can sort on any column by clicking on the header at the top of the column, just like in Windows Explorer. So, click on the Sent header - or the Receive header, if you have customized your WM to show the date received - and all the messages in the selected folder will be sorted by that column. Toggle between oldest first and newest first by clicking the header again. WM's Message List doesn't list messages from multiple folders (Inbox, Sent Items, or your own Local Folders, for example). And you might want to click View | Current view and select or deselect the option to Group messages by conversation. RC -- R. C.
