Vista - E-Mail Stuck in Outbox!

I need some help!! I am having what appears to be a common problem with an
e-mail that just will not go away. If I try to delete it I get an error
message. It is also not allowing me to send out mail!!! I need help in the
form of plain English. I am not the smartest geek on the block. HELP ME
PLEASE!

Hi,
Go to http://www.oehelp.com/ Look for the WMUtil program. Read the
instructions. Download WMUtil. Use the "Clear Outbox" button.

Randy,

I and several other people have had the same problem. Go to

www.oehelp.com/wmutil

and download Steve's utility to your desktop per his instructions. Then use
the utility, after unzipping, and compact your e-mail and the problem will
go away. It did for me and hopefully will for you. Also in the future,
compact your e-mail every time the dialog box appears asking if you want to
compact your e-mail.

I followed the suggestions below and was not able to run the full program.
The "clear outbox" button would not activate. Have not been able to get to MS
via phone tonight, but have to get this solved ASAP. The problem just popped
up after almost a full day of work and lots of mail stuck in Outbox. Any
suggestions?

On the page from which you downloaded WMUtil there are
directions you need to follow. If you don't read or follow the
directions you will get results like yours: "Clear Outbox" button
won't activate.
