| | Help Using Windows Mail in Vista I have a new computer with Vista Premium. I set up Windows Mail and subsribed to some newsgroups. When using e mail or newsgroups: I keep getting prompted for user name and password (every minute or so. What's up with that? When the Newsgroup folder is open and the groups are listed some are bold and some not. Some Newsgroups show messages when I click on them Some Newsgroups never show messages. (if I go to a different news reader there are messages in that newsgroup) |

| | Re: Help Using Windows Mail in Vista Brilliant, Mac. How about you set the password to be remembered and the stupid program deletes the password and asks for it EVERY stinking time you try to get your mail? You call Micro$oft, and they won't help because it's a preloaded O/S, you call the mfgr. and they get you to a person who can't speak English or fix Vista. Then, you do the smart thing -- dump it and get Mozilla Thunderbird -- THAT WORKS!
