Contact list

Hi, I am new to this.
In my old outlook express I was able to have a 'main identity list' and a
'shared list'.
This was great, because I could send emails to the smaller 'main list' which
was my common email buddies, then go to the 'shared list' for expansion of
my sending list.
Question: can this be setup in the new Windows Vista Mail program with my
contacts? The groups don't work well for me, cause I cannot pick & choose.

Ron

Re: Contact list

Hi Ron,

This isn't the same as it was in XP, but it shows you how to setup subfolders in Contacts (in Vista) so that you can use them like Groups (in XP). Except, you can pick and choose from within the groups addresses. Check this link out and see if it will do what you wanted.

Hope this helps,

Re: Contact list

nope, that's not available in WM.
Just contacts by themselves, or groups, which are really mail lists.

In the new Windows Live Mail, it works similar except that after you add a
group to the To: , you can open it and remove some recipients if you wish.
