Vista Mail problems

I've just set up windows mail in vista home premium with all my correct
details from TalkTalk with my username (not my e-mail address) and password

Each time i try to send/receive i get the error: Account:
'mail.talktalk.net', Server: 'mail.talktalk.net', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

so obviously i can't send/receive, is this a problem with windows mail or
from talk talk?

Re: Vista Mail problems

obviously you did not use your correct information.

you may SAY that you did, but computers don't lie, and that computer is
telling you that the WRONG info was entered.

Re: Vista Mail problems

Instead of experimenting, it is always best to follow the published
directions provided on the ISP's website.
