Vista - Windows Mail Contacts

Two issues:
1] When I am in Windows Contacts, hilight a contact, press Action and then
Send eMail - I get the email form and the process acts like it is working but
the email is never actually sent. Verified with intended recepient.
2] When in email compose and I click on To Block, the contacts in the window
do not match my Windows Contacts completely. It appears that the To Block
window does not pick up any 'renamed' files in Windows Contacts but continues
to list the old name.
