Problem with connecting to a link in Windows Mail message

My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. I have been using Windows Mail in
conjunction with my server e-mail and, just recently I have not been able to
connect to any link embedded in my e-mail messages.

    Example:
    http://www,pcworld.com/downloads/fil...l?tk=nl_ddxdwn

    Application Not Found

Using IE I am able to pull up the site without any problem.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Thanks

To correct this problem, go to Default Programs, which you
can reach either from the Start menu or the Control Panel,
then click the first item: "Set your default programs."
After a few seconds a list of programs comes up.
Click on Windows Mail. If all is well, it will respond
"This program has all its defaults."
If it reports less than all (3) of its defaults, fix it by selecting
one of the options indicated by green arrows.

    Gary,
Thanks for your help in getting this problem corrected.
As a matter of fact, I went through all of my "Defaults" and corrected them
    all.

    Everything is working fine.

    Again, thanks
