BitDefender or G-Data.
Have BitDefender Internet Security and I love it well its not perfect
but better than those elephant-process-hogs like Norton

My opinion is that the Vista Mail group is an odd place to ask
such a question when there is a group dedicated to Vista Security.

Having said that...

I, home user, haven't seen any good reason to use anything but Vistas own.

WM works fine behind Vistas supplied firewall.
I don't recall any related problems.

Re: Which Firewall is best for Vista?

I'm using Norton 360 without problem. However to avoid Norton running
scans, backups, updates, etc., which sucks up CPU when I don't want it to,
I've disabled the automatic schedules and do all of that manually.
Additionally, a review I read in PC World reported that Norton used fewer
resources than McAfee and others. Could be mistaken here, but seem to
remember reading Zone Alarm had some issues with Vista. Possibly fixed by
now.
