Windows Mail will not close

When I click on the close button in the Windows Mail window Vista reports
that Windows Mail has stopped working and it is looking for a solution then
the programme starts up again. The minimize and full-screen buttons work OK.

Re: Windows Mail will not close

Your best bet is to upgrade to the replacement for Windows Mail:

Re: Windows Mail will not close

I've downloaded and installed the beta program. Do I need to uninstall the
original Windows Mail?

Re: Windows Mail will not close

No. Windows Mail is part of Vista, just leave it be.
Windows Live Mail removes the shortcuts for Windows Mail, but it leaves
the program files and data in place. This simplifies things should you ever
want to go back.
