| | Inserting e-mail addresses automatically Hi, In the old Outlook Express 6.0, whenever I was composing an e-mail, I used to be able to type just a few strokes of the addressee's e-mail address, and somehow the rest of it would be automatically inserted. I now find in VISTA, that this works for only some of the people I have in my address book, but NOT FOR OTHERS. Any suggestions on how I can get ALL to work properly? ppeett |

| | Re: Inserting e-mail addresses automatically Gary, The OP is asking about Windows Mail. Your response was worthless. It's not a bug, just doesn't work the way you would like. No different than Office Outlook, the auto-completion works on the most often used e-mail addresses. | | Re: Inserting e-mail addresses automatically Outlook has both auto-completion and auto-resolution, which complement each other. Windows Mail's implementation is unpredictable and just doesn't work very well. Guess what, it works well in Windows Live Mail! As a longtime Microsoft beta tester I can assure you that I've been working with Windows Mail a lot longer and more intensively than you have. I know what I'm talking about.
