| | Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 On Windows mail whenever i click on "send/recieve", it comes up with a request for my username and password. After typing this in it will the request will come up again. | | Re: Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 I'm not sure what I did but I finally got mine to work, and am now able to download my e-mail I did go to my Nortons and under Firewall procesing I hit page default so not sure if that had anything to do with it or not, all I do know is I have spent all day on this computer trying to get it fixed. Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML files from the scan. It provides no protection not provided by the regular resident protection. Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and should be uninstalled. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Do not send mail. |
