email links

I have Vista Home, and a database in which I store my email links. Two days
ago a box opened on my screen:
Do you want to save this file
navcancl
from
ieframe.dll
I ignored it. Now, if I try to send an email through a link, the link opens
40 separate blank emails. But I can still use a link by copying it and
pasting it into my Windows Mail program. How can I restore the links to
create normal single emails?

Re: email links

See the "Multiple browser windows open when you click on a mailto link" section
at Windows Mail problems

Re: email links

I followed the instructions carefully, but they failed to change anything at
all. I just got a box telling me that my default mail client was not properly
installed. I then deleted my email account, and restored it. No change.

Re: email links

Try this:
Type or paste the following command in the Start search bar and hit Enter:

"C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe" OCInstallReinstallOE

(include the quote marks).

Then reboot.
