Multiple Identities for One User

Hi,
I just purchased a new notebook and it came with Windows Vista Home Premium
already installed. I am thoroughly enjoying, but I have two e-mail accounts
that I need to access daily. One is my business e-mail which I had no
problem setting up in Windows Mail and my other one is my personal e-mail.
What are the steps to set-up my personal one, without having to add an
additional user, which would be wasting time switching between the windows.
I thought I read somewhere that I could add a folder to my inbox and have my
other e-mail go directly into that folder by using message rules.
I maybe incorrect in the above, if I didn't read some of the instructions
correctly.
Could someone please Let me know the steps in order.
Thanks,
K13

Re: Multiple Identities for One User

Go to Tools, Message Rules, Mail, New...
and the wizard will guide you through the creation of a new message
rule. You should wind up with two rules looking something like this:

1. Where the message is from the 'Business' account
move it to the 'Business' folder
and stop processing more rules.

2. Where the message is from the 'Personal' account
move it to the 'Personal' folder
and stop processing more rules.

Hope this helps.

Re: Multiple Identities for One User

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your response, since I already added my personal account I was
reading other responses and found out by clicking on the Send and Receive All
under Tools my personal mail went directly into my Personal inbox and my
business went into my inbox.
I really wish Microsoft would make explanations a little more straight
forward. I have created my rules as you have suggested.
Thanks so much for your quick response.

Re: Multiple Identities for One User

Sounds like Personal is an IMAP accounts. Gary was assuming both were POP3
accounts, as I would.
