I have bought the latest version of Norton AV and did so far not have
any problems.

Hi Rainald,

I hope you do not, but I would make sure that all email scanning options are turned off at least. Norton has been reported as being the worst one of all for corrupting Windows Mail and Vista at that.

Good Luck to you,
Shawn

Re: windows mail and anti-virus programs.

I have been using Avast (free version) for a long time. It works very well
with Vista and Windows Mail. No problems at all and the best part is that
it is free and we all know that FREE IS GOOD!
