| | Can't open doc file from Mail T60 bought with Vista installed. I insta;lled Office 2003 and then upgraded to office 2007. When I try to open a .doc file in Windows Mail msg says to set association in the control panel, which is already done. If I change the assocation to Wordpad then Wordpad launches. Changing back to Word gets the "no association" message again. Saving the .doc file to disk and then clicking on it works fine. No problem opening .xls, .ppt, .pdf files from within Mail. |

| | RE: Can't open doc file from Mail I had the same problem. Try this: right click on the attachment - "Save All" and put in a new folder/file in the Documents Folder. It should then open as normal. Not sure how this came about - but it works! "gaia" wrote: > T60 bought with Vista installed.
