| | Refresh If I moved or deleted a message it used to happen straight away, over the last few days nothing happens until I click on another folder as if I'm having to prompt mail to refresh itself. Have checked that I have all the latest updates & have looked through the settings but can't find anything that looks like it'll fix it. Any ideas? |

| | Re: Refresh Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program like Norton or McAfee. Those should be uninstalled and replaced with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html Gary VanderMolen "Rob4pob" <Rob4pob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:788729F1-BE5A-4921-8B42-254B0C963949@microsoft.com... > If I moved or deleted a message it used to happen straight away, over the > last few days nothing happens until I click on another folder as if I'm > having to prompt mail to refresh itself. | | Re: Refresh You might try compacting the database. There is a button to do that in my Windows Mail Utility (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) Or repair it if that doesn't work. steve "Rob4pob" <Rob4pob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:252CBCD9-5EA2-4286-AFD0-A7716DEC0F09@microsoft.com... > Thanks Gary, Got rid of McAfee that came with the laptop some time ago & > replaced it with AVG which I've been running with no problems until a few > days ago. > > Rob > > "Gary VanderMolen" wrote: > >> Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program >> like Norton or McAfee.
