Refresh

If I moved or deleted a message it used to happen straight away, over the
last few days nothing happens until I click on another folder as if I'm
having to prompt mail to refresh itself. Have checked that I have all the
latest updates & have looked through the settings but can't find anything
that looks like it'll fix it.

Any ideas?

Re: Refresh

Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program
like Norton or McAfee. Those should be uninstalled and replaced
with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast:

Re: Refresh

Thanks Gary, Got rid of McAfee that came with the laptop some time ago &
replaced it with AVG which I've been running with no problems until a few
days ago.

Re: Refresh

You might try compacting the database. There is a button to do that in my
Windows Mail Utility (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) Or repair it if that doesn't
work.
