Windows Mail will not send

I have Windows Vista, I have set up my e-mail account to send from a DSL
services. I can receive e-mail but cannot send. The error is something like
use my own server.
How do I fix this?

Re: Windows Mail will not send

The Error reads:
E-mail scanning encountered a problem. This e-mail message cannot be sent.
After you verify the format of your recipient addresses, Mcafee recommends
that you resend those messages from your e-mail program.

Re: Windows Mail will not send

There's your problem: McAfee.
McAfee antivirus is not compatible with Windows Mail.
McAfee will need to be uninstalled and replaced with a compatible
antivirus like the free version of Avast:

Re: Windows Mail will not send

I did actually what you said and still the same thing, but is the current
error:
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was 'US_ACS_HSB_Outstanding_Issues@dell.com'.

Re: Windows Mail will not send

Is NPACC (North Penn Access?) your home ISP? I can't seem to find out much
about them.
Were you sending from home when you got that error message?
