Vista - HELP! Rules have disappeared for the 2nd time! :(

Hi and please help - anyone who can --
for the 2nd time in a matter of 2 months, my Mail Rules are completely GONE!

This is getting ridiculous and more than a little frustrating.

I did find them the first time over in my 'Guest' account's WM program that
isn't even used.

Why does it KEEP doing this and how do I get them back where they belong????
(and prevent this from occurring again?)

And your antivirus program is...?

Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program
like Norton or McAfee. Those should be uninstalled and replaced
with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast:

Garyy, Thanks for the advice & link. I downloaded and am using Avast;
disabled the email functions of Norton. I'm still getting all my email sent
directly to my Inbox though.

NOW - how do I get my Rules back where they belong so I don't have to
recreate them for the 2nd time around?
Anyone?

Disabling Norton is not sufficient. You must completely uninstall it.
