    WinMail.exe is corrupt file

    Hello,
I need help for this problem
When ever i open Windows mail i am getting a message on the right lower
corner of my screen that WinMail.exe is a corrupt file. Windows mail is
working fine. Some times i also get messages when ever i open adobe reader
that a file in this location is corrupted. The location is
"C:\Users\Gorantla\AppData\Local". I locaed the file and then i tried to
delete it. But the computer is saying that the folder is corrupted. My laptop
is a Dell XPS M1210 with Windows vista Home premim edition. I bought this 3
    weeks back.

    Hi Dr.Pavan,

First, you will need to run a Checkdisk for the corruption issue. See this link for how to do that if needed.

If that did not completely fix it for you, then run the command "sfc /scannow" in a elevated command prompt. See this link for more detail on this if needed.

    Disable email scanning. See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

You can also run System File Checker and and see if that helps. Go to Start
    | Search and type

    SFC /scannow
