| | windows mail help I have vista home premium and am using windows mail. Most of the time when I click on the mail icon I get the error message that windows mail has stopped working and will be closed. Dell has provided no help except to contact microsoft. I was wondering if someone could help me get to windows mail without the error message but if not can you use outlook express with vista? Thank you. Debbie |

| | Re: windows mail help Hi Debbie. Sorry, you can't install Outlook Express in Vista. Unfortunately, Windows Mail has many bugs. Your best solution is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail: http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas It will automatically import your Windows Mail accounts, settings, and emails. | | RE: windows mail help Dear Debbie, It`s possible to use OUTLOOK EXPRESS for Windows Vista. You will get no problems at all. You will not see OUTLOOK EXPRESS, but you will still see WINDOWS MAIL. Don`t worry about it. -- Y`re welcome, Hubert. "Debbie" wrote: > I have vista home premium and am using windows mail. Windows Mail IS for all intents and purposes the same thing as Outlook Express was, only with some added features and upgraded interface. Sue |
