Re: Sending Word 97 Docs from a Vista Laptop

Thank you so much! I have been gnashing my teeth for about 20 minutes
wondering why I got that message! Something as simple as that can cause great
consternation! It seems to me that it didnt matter in Windows whether the
document was open or not...am I remembering that correctly?

Re: Sending Word 97 Docs from a Vista Laptop

Same fix for Excel doc's. That is, make sure the file is not open.

Re: Sending Word 97 Docs from a Vista Laptop

You may be correct about the previous Windows (XP) not caring if the
file was still open.

Gary, YOU ARE THE MAN! Spent over an hour trying to get it to work, Help was
no good. Online help useless. Can't figure out why there is an email quick
pick but you can never use it.

Thanks
