Re: Spellcheck

It's the other way round. Outlook Express does not have its own spell checker, but uses the spell checker feature added by Office suite. Whereas Windows Mail comes by default with the Spell check feature, which you need to activate once.

See:

Error "This language is no longer available for spell checking" when using the Spell Checker in Windows Mail:
http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/175/1/

Language drop-down box under the Spelling tab in Windows Mail is empty:

Hi Botheration,

You can run Spell Checker manually by clicking "Tools" and click "Spelling" while composing a message. You can also see this link for how to set the "Always check spelling before sending" option.

RE: Spellcheck

Yes how do you get spell check to work in English? Microsoft wants t charge
$59 so one can pose the question. Does anybody know how to correct the
problem so one can get spell check to work in English. Has anyone contacted
microsoft about this problem with Vista and Windows mail?

Hi Ally,

If you are talking about UK English instead of US English, then I'm sorry but Windows Mail only supports the US English version.

If you are saying that you cannot get Windows Mail to run spell check, then take a look here for how to fix the problem.

Windows Mail Spell Check

If I missed the question completely, just let me know. (haha)
