WinMail and pdfs

I am having the same problem on two computers with opening pdf files in
winmail.I have adobe reader and the files open if i save them to docs. I have
tried what Ramesh, MS-MVP told Rainald on one computer but had no success,
maybe I made a mistake following directions but not don't want to try on
other computer until I have worked out the problem. Any help would be great.
Thankyou

Re: WinMail and pdfs

Best bet would be to reply in that previous thread for further instead of
starting a new thread. Hard to know what all was already mentioned without
going back and reading it in the other thread. I don't know if he had you
try to get it via the Open With or what vesion of Windows you're running as
XP and Vista would have different routes to take.

Actually, it's not wise to open any attachment straight from an e-mail. Are
you sure it's actually a PDF file you're opening? On some of the junk I'm
getting in e-mail has shown as .pdf.pif which is an attempt at a virus or
worm.

Right click on a PDF and choose Open With.... then select Acrobat Reader or
Acrobat and check the box to always open this program..... would be about
the best anyone can tell you without knowing what was already tried.
