can't send and receive email using Windows Mail

    can't send and receive email using Windows Mail

    I just bought my laptop and I can't set my yahoo account into Windows mail..
    I want to use Windows mail instead of opening yahoo mail all the time.. this
    is my error :
    Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
    this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
    inactivity. Subject 'outlook email - ', Account: 'yahoo.com', Server:
    'yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053,
    Error Number: 0x800CCC0F



    also is my account set-up correct ? see below :

    Incoming mail (POP3) : yahoo.com
    Outgoing mail (SMTP): yahoo.com

    Please advise. Thank You

    Check your SMTP address if correct. And your port 25 should be 587

    Most of your settings are wrong, including the server name.
