Cannot Send Mail Using Windows Live Mail

Hi, I keep getting the following error message. I have visited the webpage
quoted in the error but it doesn't mention Windows Mail.

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Read: !!!!YES!!!!', Account:
'Orange', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response:
'451 See http://pobox.com/~djb/docs/smtplf.html.', Port: 587, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC6A

Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards
Tony

Re: Cannot Send Mail Using Windows Live Mail

Windows Mail is not compatible with some antivirus programs.
Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program
like Norton or McAfee. Those should be uninstalled and replaced
with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast:

Re: Cannot Send Mail Using Windows Live Mail

I was hoping the fix would be easy, but it doesn't look like it.

If we take the error message at face value, either
A. Your Windows Mail is sending non-standard data, or
B. The mail.btinternet.com server is misinterpreting data sent by your
Windows Mail as non-standard.

Frankly, neither one of those two possibilities is very likely.
The only thing left to try is some other combinations:
1. Try sending through a different SMTP server.
2. Try sending from a different PC.
3. Try a different email program.
