One or more pictures message on email signature

I have a picture in my email signature & I get the "one or more pictures in
this message could not be found" message. Any ideas on what i can do to
change this? I have my signature saved as a " web page filtered" does that
have something to do with it?

any help you can offer is appreciated

Re: One or more pictures message on email signature

Did you use Word to create the signature?
Is the file size smaller than 4 kb?
Does the link for the picture have the full path to the location on your
hard drive?

Re: One or more pictures message on email signature

As Ron indicates, make sure that the path to the image in the HTML code is
the full path to the image on your hard drive.

Re: One or more pictures message on email signature

Do you have the attachment file closed in all other programs before you
attach it?

As far as a signature files goes, remember that the size limit for signature
files in Windows Mail is about 4K, and it takes extra effort to make
HTML files that small.

Re: One or more pictures message on email signature

Thanks. I do have the other program closed.
It was a jpg file but I saved it as a filtered web page in Word which made
it 2 KB. So it is now a word document. could that be the issue?

Re: One or more pictures message on email signature

I'm not familiar enough with Word documents to answer that.

RE: One or more pictures message on email signature

I have this exact problem but what is strange, I have had this signature for
over a year and now all of a sudden my picture is not coming through with the
e-mail. What do I need to check on my options?
