Opening excel files in Outlook 7

Excel files that come as attachements to emails will not open. Error message
says the file canot be found. I have tried relooding both excel and outlook
but no change. I don't know whether it is an office problem or a vista
problem, or just a setting. Word, poweerpoint files etc open fine. Any
advice?

Re: Opening excel files in Outlook 7

Take the Excel attachment and put it on your C:\ somewhere and open it there instead of trying to open it in Outlook

Re: Opening excel files in Outlook 7

If you're really using Outlook, not Outlook Express nor Windows Mail nor
Windows Live Mail, you may be experiencing issues with Outlook's Secure
Temporary Folder. Try navigating to this folder and deleting it's contents.

Attachments remain in the Outlook Secure Temporary File folder when you exit
