Hi Alrlene,

You might check to see if Internet Explorer has all of it's default associations set to it in "Default Programs". This link will show you how to do it. It should help you.

Re: web link not responding in mail

Go to Control Panel | Default programs and set the default programs there.

Re: Problems Receiving Email

Dear All,
Belated feedback.

The removal of NAV sorted out the difficulty in sending mail, thank you.
Am trying MS OneCare, it seems to work fine!

Re: Problems Receiving Email

I just finished fixing the problem with messages being stuck in window mail.
now that everything is resolved I cannot send or recieve email. a pop up box
is asking for authorization when I enter the information it does not take
when I cancel the pop up box this message appears
-- Account: 'POP3', Server: 'mail.suntwist.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 - I have had my set up since i got this
computer I have been able to send email before what has happened now

Re: Problems Receiving Email

Two comments:
Try deleting that email account, restarting Windows Mail, then
recreating the account.

This problem may be caused by your antivirus. Which one are you using?
