Junk Email Folder

Is there an option buried deep inside Windows Mail that will delete the
contents of the Junk eamil folder on closure?

Cheers.

Si

Surely that would not be sensible? It's purpose is to syphon off messages
believed to be junk but, until you've checked them, you can't be 100% sure -
so users need to delete them manually.

Re: Junk Email Folder

Well I don't know about anyone else but I always check the junk folder
before I close Windows Mail. I just thought it would be nice to have that
option available like it does for the Deleted Items folder in XP......I
think!

Cheers.

Sorry Si,

Windows Mail does not have that feature, but you can set up message rules that can send the messages straight to the delete folder for the ones you know are junk. You can also set up the Junk options to automatically delete all suspected junk mail, but you will have to stay on top of your Safe List and will not have a chance to check them to be sure.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
