Vista - 0x800CCC92

I have Vista Premium as operating system. Working with Outlook 2002 the
following message is seen.

Task 'mail.senarchitects.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name
and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts.
The server responded: ¤ERR syntax error'

e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your
account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server
responded: ?ERR Bad Login. YPOPs was unable to login to Yahoo! Mail. Your
login id or password is wrong.'

Presuming you have checked your userid and password as advised...
It is not unknown for incompatible antivirus software to screw up
logging in processing, are you using Norton or McAfee?

Known issue with Outlook 2002 under Vista.
All you can do is upgrade to Outlook 2003 or later.

I don't understand your question.

Outlook 2002 does not remember passwords when used with Vista.

To get rid of the error message, upgrade Outlook from 2002 to 2003 or 2007.
