| | Problems sending email I use my Notebook w/ Vista at work and home. While at work, via ethernet connection, I can send email fine. At home via Wifi, I can receive, but I cannot send. I've tried to check my router settings and my firewall settings. What could be the problem? Basically, it tells me my smtp server has not responded. |

You must use the SMTP sever setting for the ISP that you are connecting to, contact your ISP for the settings or if they have a web site check for help there. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] UK |

| | Re: Problems sending email It would have been helpful if you had included the complete error message. Basically, there must be a match between the SMTP server and the entity connecting you to the Internet. There are some workarounds, so let us know if you need more help.
