| Guest | Outlook steals some of my Microsoft Mail... I use Microsoft mail as my default mail handler, and I'm happy with it. I've noticed some emails I've sent from other Office programs, though, mysteriously disappear, and re-appear when I've opened my Outlook by accident. I finally realized when I send an Excel sheet "as an attachment" it doesn't show up in Mail in my outbox or sent items, then when I open Outlook they are there, and finally get sent. How do I get all my email to go thru Microsoft Mail? Thanks! |

Note: If Default Programs is not listed on your Start menu you can access it through Control Panel -> Programs. In Default Programs, click on the first item, "Set your default programs". In the "Set your default programs" dialog, click on Windows Mail in the Programs box. If you see "This program has 1 out of 3 defaults" listed under Windows Mail in the right hand section, click on "Set this program as default". The line should change to "This program has all its defaults". Click the OK button. Test this by trying to send a spreadsheet as an attachment. Good luck Nepatsfan |
