| | Message rules not properly applied Hi folks Vista Home Premium/Windows Mail Until the last couple of days, Message rules worked properly. When the conditions were met, MR would Delete it and Mark as Read and I would never see the post. Now, the header(s) are there and if I try to open the post, I get a pane saying "Unable to open ..." Now if I go to another newsgroup and back again; Lo & behold the rule has worked and deleted the unwanted post. Not the end of the world, but any ideas out there how to let MR do it all in one? -- Delboy A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. | | Re: Message rules not properly applied I use the "Tools - Synchronize All" first.. this retrieves the messages & runs the rules, and deletes the trolls, and marks them read... Then when I go to each group, those deleted messages are gone.
