re-installing windows mail in vista

After having emails stuck in the outbox and none being sent I am thinking of
trying to delete and reinstall windows mail. Can someone tell me the best way
to go about this?

Try this utility first...
http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx
It is very effective at clearing the outbox
(for those willing to read and follow instructions.)

Hi rustikman,

I would try what Julian suggested first. It should help you. Be sure to follow the instructions in the big red box.

If not, read the top portion at this link, and do the "To Reset Windows Mail" section.

Re: re-installing windows mail in vista

I have tried using the tool you suggested to clear my out box but when I did
it the database boxes were faded and could not be clicked on. Can you tell
me what else I can do to get rid of the one email that is preventing me from
sending any emails. Thanks for any input that you can provide to me
concerning this issue.

Re: re-installing windows mail in vista

Close Windows Mail. Close WMUtil. Right click on the Taskbar and select Task
Manager, on the Processes tab, highlight winmail.exe and press the End Process
button. Open WMUtil and try again.
