Where are my replies going?

When I reply to a message they do not go into my sent folder. Is there
something I'm missing in set up, or do I need to create a rule? All of my
sent messages are there, it's just when I reply to something.

Hi ltipp,

Check this setting in Windows Mail:
1. Click Tools.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Send tab.
4. Check "Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder"
5. Click Ok.

If you have this checked already, I'm not sure why your replies would not show up there as well with your regular sent messages.

Re: Where are my replies going?

Yes, it is checked, and all of my "sent" messages are saved there, just not
when I "reply" to the message. Thanks for your help anyway.

Make sure the View you have applied to the "Sent Items" folder is "Show All
Messages". If it isn't you just won't see them.
