Vista - WLMD continuously download email that already downloaded before

Dear all,

I sometimes encountered a strange problem. In usual case, an email should only be downloaded once. However, these days, I found that WLMD continuously downloaded the same email message from my POP3 account repeatedly.

I have set not to delete the email on the server as it is my college intranet email account which I need to keep a copy on the server for review. Is there anything that I can do in order to prevent WLMD repeatedly downloads the same email from the server?

I got that with OE. Now I have tons of copies of my test message I sent to
myself. Had to log in via web access and clean up the mess.

See if your college has IMAP.

Dear lsproc,

But should it be a standard feature for an email client to distinguish which emails it has already been downloaded and ignore them? I've used several email clients before and they all can do the job, including OE.
