Opening/Saving attachments in received files

Hi,
I'm having problems trying to open or save attached files in windows mail
messages. When I try to open files (with any extension), it just don't open.
When try to save them, I got the message "Error saving attached file, check
disk capacity" or something like that. Would anyone help me, please?

Re: Opening/Saving attachments in received files

In Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, click on Delete Files.

Re: Opening/Saving attachments in received files

Thanks for your help Ronald, but the issue is not disk capacity. I have more
than 60 GB available in my HD. I don't have any problem when saving files
with other applications. It is a Windows Mail problem. Do you have another
recommendation?

Re: Opening/Saving attachments in received files

What happened after you deleted the temporary Internet files?
OE places the attachments in temporary Internet files when you open or save.
Disk capacity was not mentioned nor is it an issue.

Re: Opening/Saving attachments in received files

Do you have Windows Mail configured to accept attachments?
Go to Tools, Options, Security, uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."

I did both Ron's and Gary's recommendations but just nothing happened. Same
problem. Anything else, please?

Re: Opening/Saving attachments in received files

This problem can be caused by your antivirus program.
Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee or Norton
security programs. Those will need to be uninstalled.
Replace with a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:
