Vista Tutorial - Process for Importing Email, Email Addresses into Vista from XP PC

Hi George,

Export them from your XP computer and then use the Import Messages option in the File menu of Windows Mail. Be sure to select the correct format that you are transfering from. I do not know for the addresses (Contacts in Vista).

Export how?
OE will only export to Outlook or Microsoft Exchange.
If by export, you meant to move the dbx files to the Vista computer, then
that is what you should say.

The addresses can be exported, then imported.
Groups will not export.

Thank you for your clarification on OE. That is explained much better. I am more familiar with Windows Mail than OE. Can you tell. (haha)
