Recieving mail

Sometimes when I recieve e-mail with an attachment and I try to open it a pop
up comes up and say's :"this file does not have a program associated with it
for performing this action. Create an association in the set associations
control panel."
The question is where is the association control panel and how do I set
the associations?? Thanks

Re: Recieving mail

Go to Control Panel, Default Programs. Set Associations is
a sub-category in Default Programs.

Hi Dave,

It is asking you to set what program you want to open this attachment with. You can see how to use Default Programs here for how to set that individual attachment to open with a selected program. You may want to save the attachment to the desktop or a personal user folder first though.
