Vista - sending pictures through email

Trying to send pics using the email function of windows photo gallery. Then
the software starts asking me about acronyms...." What is your POP" "What
is your outgoing SMTP?" .....stuff I dont know. I have hotmail as my email
and this Microsoft software should recognize that and make it simpler. How do
I fill out the necessary info it wants?

Those question are from Windows Mail, and are necessary if you
want to set up a POP email account. In order to make the system
aware that Hotmail is your default email client, there is a special
tool you have to run:
