| | WINDOWS MAIL HELP PLEEEAASSE. Hi I would be grateful for any advice. I had one of these funny messages that would not delete out of my spam items folder. I was advised to do one of these recovery things where all my emails are put in a recovered folder and windows mail repairs itself (sorry not that technical). Well I have done this and now I have two lots of inbox, drafts, deleted items etc one rebuilt and recovered. I then tried to transfer the recovered files into the normal inbox at the top and then delete the recovered folder. Which it did, but then the recovered section reappeared again and all the inbox at the top was empty again and the my emails back in the reappeared recoverd section. (Hope this is making sense). I then sent an email to my partners account and he recieved it. I then tried to send one to myself from his account and I have had nothing. I tried to reply to the message I sent him, but again I did not receive it. Is there a delay in this happening?? Why did the recovered section reappear, does the recovered email section have to stay there now. Is there a better version of Windows mail, without all these problem, Im constantly having to find ways to remove these stuck emails, its driving me barmy. I would be extremely grateful for any advice. Thank you so much. |

They are not compatible with Vista. Make sure that all email scanning options are turned off. Free antivirus - avast! 4 Home Edition I would recommend that you switch to Windows Live Mail instead of Windows Mail. It is not buggy like Windows Mail. Windows Live Mail Beta Shawn |
