| | Deleting unwanted Contacts I added a sub-folder to my Contacts called "Infrequent Contacts" and have transferred into it several seldom used names from the main Contact list. Now whenever I add a new contact and transfer it to the "Infrequent Contacts" folder, the name will also show up in the list which appears when I click on the icon next to the "To :" slot in a "Create Mail" window. Can anyone tell me how to delete it from there? |

| | Re: Deleting unwanted Contacts You can't. That is a 'feature' of Windows Mail. Try Windows Live Mail. You'll like it better. Can anyone tell me how to delete it from there? The only way I know to solve this is to move the "Infrequent Contacts" folder out of the "Contacts" folder and put it as another personal user folder instead. EX: "C:\Users\(your username)\Infrequent Contacts". When you want to use those contacts when you click "To :", just click Find and navigate to it. | | Re: Deleting unwanted Contacts Thank you for your explanation Gary. Looks like I will have to put up with the problem as I don't intend to switch to Live Mail. Thanks for repying also Brink but there is no "Browse" button in the dialogue box that opens up when you click on the "To:" icon in a new mail window! | | Re: Deleting unwanted Contacts Sounds like you may have a wrong impression of what Windows Live Mail is.
