Error message problem

I have a problem with received Emails which include links to other sites.
If I click on a link I just get the error message 'application not found'.
I've eliminated the protection system as being at fault and have run out of
ideas to solve this one. Any new ideas would be appreciated. Robert

Hi Robert,

Try going into Default Programs and make sure that Internet Explorer has all of it's default associations set to it. You can see this link for how to do this.

Start | Default Programs
Make sure Internet Explorer has all its defaults.
