| | RE: Fix for Windows Mail - Vista- Mail stuck in Outbox bug It works. I think Microsoft should upgrade this hotfix to an important update, so that people will have the problem fixed before it occurs, instead of pulling their hair our for a day or so while they hunt for a solution (including contacting my ISP who just asked me to delete and re-create the email account in Windows Mail, which didn't help) "bjr" wrote: Quote: |

| | Re: Fix for Windows Mail - Vista- Mail stuck in Outbox bug It can't be structured as an update because it is not a permanent fix. All it does is remove stuck emails. There is nothing to prevent new stuck emails from occurring. The best prevention is to use only the antivirus programs we recommend in this forum, and never configure your antivirus to scan emails. | | Re: Fix for Windows Mail - Vista- Mail stuck in Outbox bug Try the following Click on start Click on Control Panel Click System and Maintenance Under System Click View Amt. Ram and Processor Speed This should tell you whether it is 64 of 32. Probably an easier way but I don't know what it is. | | Re: Fix for Windows Mail - Vista- Mail stuck in Outbox bug You can hold down the Win-key (the one with the Windows on it) and press the Pause key. This will bring up the System screen. Under System type it tells you if you have 32-bit or 64-bit. (Anyone who has to ask probably has 32-bit.) ;-) -- Gary VanderMolen [MS MVP-WLM] "Sharyn Mitchell" <mitch2@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:Ov7$X9QDIHA.5752@xxxxxx Quote: > Try the following > Click on start > Click on Control Panel > Click System and Maintenance > Under System > Click View Amt.
