| | Hyperlinks in emails in Windows mail won't work. I have just got a new Vista computer, with lovely new Outlook loaded onto it. But,when I click on a link sent in an email, I get an error message telling me it won't go to the link and to ask my administrator for help. I am the administrator and I don't know what to do about it! Its an admin account, and so I am surprised I am limited in this way. Please help? what setting do I need to change to bypass this? Many thanks. |

Many thanks. Double check these items: 1. Go into Default Programs and make sure that Internet Explorer has all of it's default associations set to it. You can see how here: Default Programs - Program Default Associations 2. Check these settings in Windows Mail: A) Click Tools, Options, Security tab B) Dot "Internet Zone" C) Click Ok This should get it to work for you. Shawn |
