Vista Tutorial - Emails disappear

Emails disappear

Sometimes the emails will disappear.
I tried view > current view > show all messages, but the messages still
won't show.
This happens with those emails that I have not opened as well.

Emails are still inside the folders, they just won't be visible.
To resolve this, I restart the application and the emails appear again
(sometimes you have to restart the application several times). But then after
a while it happens again.

What can I do to fix this problem?

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.
