Vista - Imported folders, but no messages!...?

Hello everybody!
I have done the whole process in importing my old dbx files from outlook to
windows mail. I made a backup, saved on my pendrive and then did the `import
messages in outlook format`.
However, for my surprise, it only imported the folders - and no messages! I
mean, there only the names of my old folders, but my messages weren`t there...

What have I done wrong?? What should I do now to repair this??
Please, any help.
