| | deleting deleted items I have been trying to figure out how to delete "deleted items", this great new Windows Mail isn't very cooperative. I have tried 2 ways: 1. right click on "deleted items" then click the 'empty deleted items folder', 2. left click EDIT, then click 'empty deleted items folder'. Either way it only deletes one email at a time rather than empty the entire folder. Currently I have 203 emails in 'deleted items' and I'm not going through this 203 times to empty it. Therefore, I've stopped using my great, new HP Compac computer with this wonderful Vista for email and back to using my old computer with XP and Outlook because at least it works. Any suggestions on how to make it work? By the way, did I happen to mention I really hate Vista???? |

It has been reported to work on all folders in Windows Mail. Windows Mail problems Shawn |

| | Re: deleting deleted items Try the new Microsoft fix: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090 Although it only mentions the Outbox, it actually works for all folders.
