Windows Mail does not display Spam folder

    Hello,
Any help with the following will be greatly appreciated.
My laptop runs Windows Vista Home premium. I use Windows Mail to read my
email. All my email accounts are IMAP. My email provider offers server side
spam filters which are enabled. When I read my email via "webmail" I can see
all the spam folders. When though I use Windows Mail I can see the the spam
folder for one only of my email accounts. When I attempt to create/see the
spam folders for the other accounts, I get the message: "Could not show
Spam. The server refused to show it. The folder might already shawn. Folder
    already subscribed."
    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks
    Penny

Only an IMAP account will show you a server side spam folder.

Many thanks, Frank, for kindly considering my question. All my three email
accounts are IMAP ones, but only one of them displays the spam folder in
windows mail. The other two doesn't. I can see the spam folder listed in the
Show/Hide IMAP Folders window, but when I select it and click the "show"
    buttom I get the message:
"Could not show Spam. The server refused to show it. The folder might
    already shawn. Folder already subscribed."

Re: Windows Mail does not display Spam folder

Taking into account Frank's helpful suggestion, I managed to solve the
problem of not been able to display the Spam folder for some of my IMAP
    accounts by doing the following:
In Windows Mail, I righ-clicked on each of these email accounts and selected
the option "reset list". The Spam folder thus appeared.
