| Guest | IMAP folders for "Deleted Items" and "Junk E-Mail" My IMAP server (at work) has dedicated folders called "Trash" and "Junk Mail" which I cannot rename or delete. Windows Mail insists on creating new, separate folders called "Deleted Items" and "Junk E-Mail." Is there some way to configure Windows Mail to use the "Trash" and "Junk Mail" folders that already exist in my IMAP account? |

| Guest | Re: IMAP folders for "Deleted Items" and "Junk E-Mail" Try Right clicking on your email account in Windows Mail, and select the option "reset folders" from the menu. That should download the list of folders available in your Imap server. | Guest | Re: IMAP folders for "Deleted Items" and "Junk E-Mail" I did manage to figure out a solution. Under Tools -> Accounts -> Properties -> IMAP, check "Store special folders on IMAP server," then specify the names of the folders in the boxes below that. Click OK, then go back and delete the folders WM created that you don't want to use.
